About Us

Pawsome Dog Daycare is owned and operated by the Nickson and Morris families who have over 25 years of experience caring for dogs. Both families know and love dogs and appreciate all dogs are different. As such our care for your dog is bespoke and we spend a lot of time getting to know your beloved pet to ensure their stay with us is as comfortable and enjoyable as it can be. 
All staff onsite have vast experience with working with dogs and we support their continuous development through regular training. 
We encourage all prospective customers to come and visit us to meet our families and staff before booking. You can also experience the beauty of Blairadam Forest for yourselves, to fully appreciate the wonderful environment in which your beloved dog (or dogs) will enjoy whilst in our care.
Situated on the edge of the magnificent Blairadam Forest, we serve the Fife, Perthshire and Edinburgh area, although some of our customers have been known to travel from further afield! The stunning scenery and excellent network of footpaths ensures that walking your dog on a regular basis is a pleasure for both us and your dog.
Less than half a mile from the M90 Junction 4, and only ten minutes from the Queensferry Crossing, we can be reached easily and quickly from most locations.

We offer training and enrichment programs, such as obedience training or interactive games, to help keep dogs mentally stimulated and engaged

What can you expect from Pawsome dog daycare? 
Whilst at our facility your dog can play, socialise, and receive care and attention whilst you are away or at work. A typical day includes playtime, exercise, rest, feeding and medication (if needed).
What are the benefits of dog daycare? 
Dog daycare provides several benefits for dogs, including socialisation, exercise, mental stimulation, and relief from boredom and loneliness. Dog daycare can also be a helpful solution for owners who work long hours or have other commitments that prevent them from being with their dogs during the day.
Is Pawsome dog daycare safe? 
Yes, our facility is safe and properly supervised, maintained, and staffed by trained professionals. We are a Fife Council licensed dog daycare provider and as such we have safety protocols in place, such as health screenings, vaccination requirements, and behaviour assessments for dogs.
How do I know if my dog is a good fit for dog daycare? 
Not all dogs are suited for dog daycare, and it’s important for us to evaluate your dog’s personality, behaviour, and needs before joining us. We require your dog to be up-to-date with their vaccinations, and pass a behaviour assessment. If your dog is in season, please contact us prior to booking so we can provide the appropriate care.
What should I bring to dog daycare?  
You should bring your dog’s food (if they usually eat during daycare hours), any medication they require, a leash, and any toys or blankets that will help them feel more comfortable.
How long can my dog stay at daycare? 
We offer full-day and half-day options. However, we understand that you have a busy schedule so we may be able to accommodate specific requests out-with these options. Please speak to a member of staff regarding your requirements.
What if my dog gets sick or injured at daycare? 
If your dog gets sick or injured at daycare, our staff will notify you immediately and seek veterinary care if necessary. You will be responsible for any vet bills incurred.
How much does dog daycare cost? 
To join us for a full day we charge £25 per dog and £15 for a half day. For dogs from the same household we charge £19 per day and £9 per half day for each additional dog.
